Hollywood star Jude Law and Oscar-winning film producer Lord Puttnam are the latest celebrities to confirm they will be coming to the Island for the Minghella Movie Marathon.
As all Islanders know, Anthony Minghella, Oscar-winning director, playwright and screenwriter, was born in Ryde and this series of screenings and receptions on the Isle Of Wight marks the first anniversary of his death, aiming to raise funds to benefit charities for local children.
The event runs from 13-15 March, and will include the screening of such classics as Truly, Madly, Deeply, The English Patient, and The Talented Mr. Ripley (starring Jude Law), amongst many others.
