Three events have been arranged to enable senior managers to listen to customers who use the company’s three routes over a cup of coffee or tea.
- West Wight commuters: Wednesday 8 October on board the 06:25 and 07:50 sailings from Yarmouth
- Ryde commuters: Wednesday 12 November at Portsmouth Harbour between 16:30 – 18:30
- East Wight car ferry customers: Wednesday 17 December on the 17:00 sailing from Portsmouth Gunwharf and 18:00 from Fishbourne
Wightlink continues with its scheduled programme of consultation through its popular Wightlink Customer Forums for both the Western and Eastern Solent.
The last Wightlink Customer Forum East meeting at Fishbourne on Thursday 11 September included discussions on several issues and a presentation by Head of Operations Sean Millward on how timetables are created, taking into consideration customer demand, train connections, staff rotas, routine maintenance, refits and refuelling.
Sean said,
“We value these opportunities to meet our customers and find out their opinions on our services. Although we always welcome comments from people who contact us on wightlink.co.uk/feedback, it is better to meet in person and I look forward to this autumn’s event.”
