Many music lovers and musicians on the Isle of Wight will have fond memories of the music venue Talking Heads in Southampton.
The venue has been a cornerstone for music lovers over the years, so it’s very sad to hear that the iconic Southampton music venue saw it’s final contribution to the music scene on Saturday night.
Financial troubles for the owners have been cited as the reason for the closure, but there’s been a swell of community interest in keeping the venue going.

The venue is seen as vital to the Southampton music scene and a Facebook Group has been set up by Talking Head fans in the hope of finding a way forward for the venue. It has attracted support from over 3,500 people within just a couple of days.
