The Blues Room returns to Ryde Theatre in November with with Errol Linton’s Blues Vibe.
According to the promotional material, Errol Linton carries the legacy of Little Walter and Sonny Boy Williamson into the twenty first century with his eclectic British blues, dishing up swathes of reggae and a little jazziness adding extra dimensions.
He’ll be accompanied by double bass, guitar, piano and drums, for his raw and bloody blues, an urban sound with rural roots.
Errol Linton has now received the Blues Harp Player of the Year on three successive occasions. and his band is apparently one of the most real, unpretentious down home blues bands around. If you like to boogie, this band is a must!
It wouldn’t be a Bluesroom night without support from The Amen Boogie Blues Band, who will be serving up their own brand of ‘Electric Chicago-style blues from the Medina Delta.’
