Regular readers might remember back in June news on VB of a short film based on the life of Newport chimney sweep, Valentine Gray, coming to the Island.
The Crime Wave was shown at the Annual IOW Short Film Festival and we’ve just heard that the film received an award at the International Film Festival which took place in Ireland last week.
This is a second International award that the film has achieved, hot on the heels of the award in Thailand in July.
