Congratulations to Mike Boss and his mate, Mark, who navigated their way through one of the busiest shipping lanes from Gosport to Ryde today in a pedalo.
It was predicted that the task would take in the region of 3-4 hours, but we hear this afternoon that the guys made it in just one and three quarter hours.
The reason for this madcap attempt was in order to raise cash for The Wessex Rehabilitation Centre at Salisbury District Hospital which the guys are hoping, will be at least £5,000.
