The Island’s very own balaclava clad band, Thee Waxworks will be giving out FREE promos with special sleeves of the debut ‘ALTAMONT’ EP at the launch of the Transitions Volume 2 CD on Saturday.
What lovely generous chaps they are, especially as we’ve had a sneaky preview of the EP (thanks lads) and can safely say that it is top notch as far as swamp voodoo blues go.
The EP was recorded and produced down at The Steam Room studios in Ventnor with Paul Butler, who is now working and living in LA producing for some names we couldn’t dare to mention.
The Ventnor Winter Gardens is going to be ‘the’ place to be this Saturday night, so make sure you book your babysitters, taxis and the like and get yourselves down there from 8pm.
£2.50 entrance and only £10 for the 50+ track triple CD. Make sure you bring enough for both, and you might want to by John Cattle from Wight Trash a drink for putting it all together.
