Tistales storytellers to enchant with nature-inspired tales: Isle of Wight Biosphere Festival 2024

Last updated:

As part of the first Isle of Wight Biosphere Festival join Tistales storytellers, Sue Bailey, Tony (Monty) Hirst and Holly Medland as they take you on storytelling journeys that begin under one of Northwood House’s magnificent trees.

The stories may branch out to many times and many countries, but all will have their roots deep in the ground, connecting nature and humanity.

The author Paulo Coelho said “In a forest of a hundred thousand trees, no two leaves are alike. And no two journeys along the same path are alike.”

These stories will mainly be aimed at adults but children aged 12+ welcome. Bring a rug / picnic chair/umbrella and dress appropriately for the weather.

Where and when
Under the Tree by Tis Tales takes place in Northwood Park on Saturday 29th June 2024. Meet by the war memorial for a 7.30pm start.

Tickets £7. Booking required.

Lawn Bar will be open
Northwood House Charitable Trust have kindly given their permission for this Biosphere Festival event to take place here. Their Lawn Bar will be open for drinks after the stories – enjoy the lovely surroundings and soak up the ambience of this special place.
