As mentioned several times in the run up to Ventnor Fringe Festival today (Friday) sees a host of live music on offer.
The idyllic location at Flowers Brook (just past Ventnor Park towards St Lawrence) has been taken over for Fringe events and as well as the amazing Big Top tent, the site also sports a well-stocked pop-up bar.
Largest venue for Fringe
This is the largest outdoor venue at Ventnor Fringe since it formed in 2010 and has hosted all sorts of shows this week including live music, carnival skills, theatre, circus acts, drag cabaret and even a makers’ market.
What’s on?
Today the venue will play host to live music curated by the Ventnor Exchange team.
The Big Top doors (curtains) open at 2pm and the first support act comes on stage around 2.30pm.
Jazz pianist, Greg Foat will be playing between 4-5pm, whilst Luca Wilding is on at 7pm.
Ventnor favourites, CHAMPS, will be playing tracks from their yet to be released fourth album from 8.15pm and the evening is topped off by the brilliant all-female band, Goat Girl playing from 9.45pm.
Book now
A day pass for all the shows is £35. Book your tickets through the Ventnor Fringe’s Box Office Website (the easiest option).
The Big Top is situated at Flowersbrook Field, Steephill Road, PO38 1UF (accessed via Steephill Road or the coastal path from La Falaise Carpark). There is a steep slope to access the field. Toilets are on site.
