Toogether 2021: First music festival on the Isle of Wight since Covid-19

Organisers of the Toogether Festival received some good news this morning that will make their event the first proper music festival on the Isle of Wight since Covid-19 hit the Island.

The three-day festival will take place at Sandown Airport, between 30th July to 1st August 2021.

The line-up still includes those who were booked to perform in 2020 (postponed due to Covid-19), including the legendary 808 State (live band), LTJ BukemRoni SizeKosheen (live band) and Stanton Warriors who will all be joining the Toogether party this summer.

Making sure our attendees can feel safe
Organiser of the event, Mark Weber, told News OnTheWight,

“We have lowered our capacity by around 30 per cent to make sure our attendees can feel safe in the knowledge there will be plenty of space for them if they choose to maintain a distance from other people.

“Otherwise we plan for the event to be a normal music festival with no restrictions in place, there will be hand sanitising stations around the site and people can wear masks if they choose to.”

“A chance for us all to get back Toogether once again”
He went on to say,

“We are very excited about the lineup this year and believe this will be the perfect party to celebrate the return of our freedom and a chance for us all to get back Toogether once again.”
