Top Mops marks 25-year milestone with glamorous event and awards ceremony

Over 100 guests gathered with Top Mops at the Lakeside Park Hotel and Spa, celebrating the company’s 25th business anniversary.

The celebration kicked off with a drink’s reception, followed by a specially curated four-course meal and a captivating cabaret show by Huxley Magic.

Formed in 1998
Sarah Ford, the Relationship Manager of Top Mops, then took the stage to reflect on the company’s journey since its inception by Mark Tutty in 1998. She highlighted the key milestones over the past 25 years, leading to today when Top Mops stands as one of the leading, multi-award winning contract cleaning companies in the south.

Operating from its Sandown-based head office, the company now employs over 300 staff across the region. Sarah’s presentation touched on various key milestones like the company’s award successes, its long-standing association with the Isle of Wight Festival, and its critical support to the NHS during the Covid Pandemic.

Awards ceremony
Following the presentation, the ceremony moved to the awards segment where members of the Top Mops team received recognition for their contributions.

Adrian Abraham received the Team Award, while Aidan Atkins clinched the Newcomer Award. Long Service Awards went to Loren Tutty, Mark Hadley, Craig Ford, Brian Tutty, Perry Brown, and Davey Boon.

The Old Smithy in Godshill stood out as the longest standing Top Mops customer, marking a relationship that dates back to the company’s early days.

£1,546 raised for Cancer Research
The evening also featured a raffle and auction on behalf of Cancer Research, which spurred intense bidding and raised £1,546.

Leading Island businesses like WightFibre, HoverTravel, Island Tea and Coffee Co, JR Zone, and BeCalmed of Cowes generously donated prizes and lots for the event.

The celebration continued as guests grooved to an exclusive DJ set by Jamie White, created cherished memories at the photobooth, and reveled in the 25-year legacy of Top Mops.

Tutty: Here’s to the next 25 years
Mark Tutty, the Founder and Managing Director of Top Mops, summed up the evening,

“What a great evening and amazing opportunity to celebrate all that the company and our team have achieved over the past 25 years.

“The customers we are proud to work with and the pride we take as an Island business.

“Here’s to the next 25 years.”
