Mark O’Sullivan had a treat today – he watched a Tornado on the Isle of Wight!
At three o’clock this afternoon he witnessed the Tornado developing in the sky, which he described as, “spectacular.”
He told VB that looking through binoculars he could, “see a vapour tube at the bottom which went down behind Freshwater Downs,” with a whole lots of rotating going on in it as well.
It lasted about 20 minutes in all and was also watched by PC Matt Rowlands and PCSO Lotte O’Sullivan. who were on patrol at the time.
Did anyone else see it? Get more photos of it?
Many thanks for Mark for the photo and Noni for sending us the story tip.
