The closure of Queens Road in Ryde for emergency carriageway works is causing traffic difficulties this morning with long tail-backs into the town.
The road was subject to overnight roadworks last week, but has been closed today (except to residents) for ’emergency carriageway works’ due to a void in the road.
Diversions are in place for all traffic, including the buses, so expect delays to your journey.
Due to the diversion in Queens Road, routes 4 and 9 are suffering delays of 15 minutes. This is due to schools and peak traffic.
