At about 10am this morning a truck toppled over, ending up on its side in Starks Close in Shorwell.
Reports from the scene are that the lorry had a crane fitted to it. It had it extended it out and tipped the whole lorry over.
The photos by Karen O’Rourke give a graphic view of how the lorry ended up.
Happily no one was in the lorry at the time of the accident and there were no injuries – perhaps except for the pride of the lorry driver.
It’s understood that the lorry is awaiting a recovery lorry to put it back on the road.
