Congratulations to the organisers of the TVR Summer Camp Event held at Ninham Country Holidays earlier this month, who managed to raise a whopping £20,000.
The funds have been donated to Isle of Wight charities, Ability Dogs 4 Young People and YMCA Young Carers receiving £9,500 each, and £1,000 being donated to Sandown and Lake Youth Football Club, a charity chosen by Derek Harvey, the owner of Ninham Country Holidays.
Ford: Big thanks to our supporters
One of the organisers, Clive Ford, told News OnTheWight,
“We would like to thank the following business`s that have sponsored and supported this event, and donated items for our charity auction.
“Fat Shaun’s Outdoor Catering (you won’t find better believe me), Stotesbury’s Marquees and Spyder UK Ltd. These three firms are great supporters of this event, thank you all so much for your continued support.
“Wightlink,Isle of Wight Ferries , who have been sponsoring this event since 2013 and have helped us in raising over £67,000 for local charities to date.
“Wexham Park Golf Centre whose Directors and affiliates sent us a donation of £,400 to start off with, and then rounded up our total to reach the £10,000 mark.
“But then along comes Lsu Hire owner Steve Willson, and offers to double our total with a huge £10,000 donation, just amazing and thank you so much Lsu Hire , just amazing.
“Special thanks to the following firms and people who donated so many items for our Charity Auction, and I hope we can speak to you again for our 2023 event.

The fundraising event returns 6th to 10th July 2023.
