Two people have been charged in connection with the recent double break-ins at the ‘Beach Hut Diner’ and ‘Ventnor Bay Cafe’ on the Esplanade, Ventnor, where charity money was stolen during the break-in.
Paul Philip Carter, aged 27, of Pound Lane, Ventnor, Isle of Wight, and Robert John Scott, aged 36, of West Street, Wroxall, Isle of Wight were both charged with two counts of burglary.
Both men were bailed by the police to appear before the Isle of Wight Magistrates Court tomorrow, Friday, 13th November, 2009.
