It’s that time of the month when we get the figures through for the number of unemployed claimants on Isle of Wight.
This month sees another drop in the number of claimants on the Island dropping from 2,768 to 2,619.
That makes the number of claimants 376 lower than in July 2009 and 149 lower than in June 2010.
We’d imagine that it’s quite normal on the Island for that to happen in season, given that we’re a tourist Island.
