Super-talented Isle of Wight artist and animator, Luke Bridgeman, has been running an animation workshop for young people, as part of Youth Offer in Ventnor.
Luke tells us he’s had great success with the classes so far, covering stop motion animation and character design and most of the popular classes have been specially focused on effects and 3D/game design.
However, due to a lack of resources, he only has one laptop between ten young people and therefore can’t engage everyone at the same time.
Appeal for unwanted computers
Luke says,
“We are currently looking for people to donate computers or hardware for the course so that every person who attends can have access to a PC to work on their film.
“I would really appreciate it if readers could help in any way, and get more kids engaged in this ever growing art form.”
