If you have first aid skills and fancy helping out at the V-Bay Festival over the weekend, organisers are urging you to get in touch.
The Festival has the use of the Lifeguard’s hut for the weekend, you wouldn’t be stuck in there the entire time, but simply use it as a base.
Generous donation
Organisers of the Festival tell us that the closure of the beach has been possible because of the generous donation made by Andrew Fishleigh from Keystone Law.
His sponsorship of the event has almost covered the cost of closing the beach for the weekend and the organisers would like to extend their thanks to Andrew and others who are giving up their time to help make the festival a success.
