The rain has gone and the sun is out. The skies are blue and those taking part in the sponsored swim at midday will be preparing themselves over the next couple of hours for their chilly charity dip.
Today is music day in Ventnor. There will be live music around the town all day, many of the shops will be open and an antiques fair takes place in the Winter Gardens.
At 2pm there is a vehicle rally on the seafront along with a mobility scooter fancy dress competition.
Magician and illusionist, Chris Philpott will be performing along the sea front, in cafes and pubs around the beach.
There’ll be a ghost walk at 6pm setting off from outside The Spyglass with Marc Tuckey (last about an hour).
Firework Finale
The festival will close this evening when a firework finale will take place (weather permitting) at 9.30pm on the seafront. Don’t forget to lock up your pets before you head out to watch it.
