The V-Bay Festival is due to kick off tonight with the Big Speakeasy at the Winter Gardens, but the music doesn’t stop there.
The entire weekend offers a chance to capture to magical talent of our Island musicians.
Saturday afternoon sees “In the Music Garden” at Spring Hill Gardens.
Lesley from The Ventnorian has organised an African drum workshop with percussion for children and pirates of all ages.
Take along a picnic and if by chance it rains, it will be held in the Youth Centre on Victoria Street.
Meanwhile down on the seafront, Cephalapod (aka Joe Cauldwell) will be playing his didgridoo and djembe drum in the morning.
Again, if the rain comes, the music won’t stop but will take place in the old Bus Station on Pier Street.
