Ventnor Artists Collective (VAC), a group of talented creatives, has been an active part of the Ventnor arts scene since 2017.
This year, they are preparing to host a special Christmas exhibition in Peer Studios, located on Pier Street in Ventnor.
The exhibition is open to the public between now and Sunday 1st December (Leeson Road will be open from early doors on Sunday for those travelling from the east).
Visitors can explore the displays between 10am and 4pm each day.
A wide variety of artistic styles
The VAC exhibition promises an eclectic mix of artistic expressions. Their work spans painting, mixed media, drawing, sculptural ceramics, photography and linocuts.
In addition to larger artworks, the exhibition will include decorative wall hangings and small Christmas-themed items, making it an ideal stop for festive shoppers and art enthusiasts alike.
Workshops at the heart of VAC’s mission
The group is not only focused on showcasing their art, but also on fostering creativity and connection within the community.
VAC holds monthly workshops at Trinity Church Hall in Ventnor, which serve as both learning opportunities and social gatherings.
The artists are eager to welcome new members to these sessions, offering a supportive environment for anyone interested in exploring or developing their creative talents.
A celebration of local creativity
This Christmas exhibition is an opportunity to celebrate the diversity and vibrancy of the Ventnor artistic community.
Whether you are looking for unique holiday gifts or simply wish to immerse yourself in local art, the VAC event at Peer Studios promises something for everyone.
