Come along to the Winter Gardens on Sunday 2nd August at 7pm to hear Colin Elvers and Fay Brown present a slide show and talk featuring Ventnor Carnival.
Colin and Fay are well known amongst local historians and regularly host evenings for our own Local History Society.
The Carnival Committee is very pleased they agreed to prepare and host a slide show and talk as part of this year’s Carnival celebrations on the occasion of the Carnival’s 120th anniversary.
The subject will appeal to not only those with a thirst for local history but to the wider community whose support has seen our Carnival thrive for 120 years.
Entry will cost £2 for an adult and £1 for children – please also support the raffle on the night in support of Carnival funds.
