There appeared to be a bit of a mix up down at the Jazz office on Friday. Apparently, they were not aware of the fact that on the first day of sale, all Islander tickets should’ve been sold without a booking fee. The result being that they were charging an extra £5 for every ticket they sold that day.
They obviously hadn’t been reading the blog or any other press where this fact was clearly stated.
Wireworm brought it to our attention on the forum and Bestival head honcho, JonnyBestival stepped in quickly to sort out the confusion.
Anyway the outcome is that Jonny is valiantly taking the blame for the mix up and asking for anyone who bought a ticket from the Jazz office in Ventnor and paid that extra fiver, to pop back in tomorrow and the Jazz office will return it to you.
