Ventnor Lions Club supports Well-Being Cafe with £500 donation

Ventnor Well-being Cafe were enjoying a game of crazy golf at Rylstone Gardens in Shanklin, when they were joined by Phil Holland, President of Ventnor Lions Club.

Phil Holland President of the Ventnor Lions presented a cheque for £500 to Cath Hammond, the group’s co-ordinator, and the members of the Well-Being Cafe.

Phil Holland said,

“Ventnor Lions Club were delighted to be able to make this donation to the Well-Being Cafe and to enable the group to continue with the great help and assistance that they offer to people who attend Cafe at the Green Room in Salisbury Gardens, Ventnor.”

Donation will help provide additional support
Cath and the members present thanked Phil and the Ventnor Lions for the donation which would help provide additional support for members of the group.

The group were enjoying one of their regular outings – on this occasion a bus trip to Shanklin to play a round of Crazy Golf and a picnic lunch.

Where and when
Ventnor Well-being Cafe meets four times a week at Salisbury Gardens – from 10am to 2pm on Monday and Wednesday and on Tuesday and Friday from 12pm to 4pm (including lunch).
