The Ventnor Music for Fun Festival will take place this year on 20th – 22nd November.
Following the success of last year’s revived event, the Festival will be holding a fund-raising concert on Saturday 20th September, at St Catherine’s Church, Ventnor, starting at 7.30pm.
The concert will be given by previous participants and winners. Entry at the door is £5 to include glass of wine/soft drink.
This year the organisers are pleased to announce the launch of the Festival’s very own web site, designed by Angi Millard (one of the organisers).
She took advantage of the Community Learning Project running in Ventnor to attend a Web design course for 2 terms this year in order to produce a website for the Festival.
‘It was a challenge, but I really enjoyed the course. It was good to be in a learning environment again and meet new people. The tutor, Stephen Darlington, was a great help and remained patient, even with his more mature students! I’m very pleased with the site I’ve produced and hope it will help to increase numbers taking part in the Festival.’

For those without Internet access, the syllabus and entry form are available from The Ventnorian, Ventnor Rare Books, The Jazz Office and El Toro Contento Tapas Bar; or by phoning 730742.
