Last night Ventnor Town Council voted to reject all three current proposed education reforms, following a letter Secretary of the Isle of Wight Association of Local Councils.
Rejection was proposed by Steve Milford and seconded in quick succession by Val Taylor.
VTC decided not to write to the council to just say “No,” as they wanted to provide a brief outline of what they would like to see. They plan to write this following a meeting of the IW Association of Local Councils on 18 March.
Similar actions have taken place at other town councils, with Newport & St Helen’s reporting the same.
