Did you know that Ventnor Town Council rejected the Conservation Area Consent to knock down and redevelop The Mill Bay Inn, The Esplanade on 14 May?
They stated that
the proposed redevelopment of this site is out of keeping with the conservation area being an over-development of the site; from the areas above the site the views will be obstructed and the terraced aspect of the landscape will be lost and the proposed vehicular access will create a traffic hazard.
