It’s been some time since we had a report from Womble Wendy, but that doesn’t mean she hasn’t been wombling around.
In the last three months, she and her womble friends have been busy litter picking at Whatcombe Bottom, Leeson Road view point car park, Shore Road car park and Bonchurch Village Green, Blackgang Road Niton and Windy Corner car park.
Bonchurch Pond, St Boniface Down car park, Dudley Road, Salisbury Gardens, Wheelers Bay, Bonchurch, the skateboard park and Eastern Esplanade car park all received similar treatment.

The next litter pick will be Sunday 31st July. Meet at 11am at the Landslip Car Park and Picnic Area, opposite Nansen Hill.
Womble Wendy said it would be good to see some Bonchurch residents wombling with her.
Well done to Wendy and her friends who make sure that Ventnor is kept clean an tidy. The road sweepers also do a great job, but some people seem to have trouble taking their litter home with them.
