Do you like prizes? Daft question really – of course you do! Who doesn’t?
Well, we want to give you some – and as you’d expect from VentnorBlog, they’re quality.
We really want you to help us spread the knowledge of VentnorBlog’s independent Isle of Wight news to your Facebook friends.
In return we’ve lined up some great prizes for you – all high-quality and highly-desirable. We think we’ve got something for everyone.

- Two tickets to a live event of your choice at Quay Arts

How does it work?
We wanted to make it as simple as possible for you to enter.
All you’ve got to do is encourage your Facebook friends to go to VB’s new Facebook news page and get them to click the Like button.
To get to the bigger prizes more quickly, you could paste something like the message below on your wall .

Likes mean prizes!
Think of it like a race – every time we pass through a target number of Likes, a prize is awarded and we’re onto the next great prize.
So, when the number of Likes for the VentnorBlog page on Facebook goes through …
- 3,000 – we’ll issue the Quay Arts prize;
- on reaching 4,500, the year-long pass to Robin Hill prize will be awarded;
- and when we rocket through 6,500, one of those lucky people will be winning dinner for two at the Royal.
For each stage, we’ll look back over the posts on people’s FB walls and will randomly select the winner from one of people who have Liked the VB Facebook page.
It doesn’t matter if you get one of your friends to like it or 1,000 – but the more that you invite, the quicker the prizes will be won.
The more often you remind people via your status updates (but be sensible, we don’t want you falling out with your mates for over-posting!), the sooner you might be having dinner at The Royal!
How long is it going to run?
Well, that’s up to you really.
The quicker we get to our targets, the quicker we’ll do the prize draw, so the quicker the lucky winners will be able to claim their prizes.
