Ventnorians and beyond: Unfazed by weather, festival-goers boost Ventnor Fringe record

Last updated:

Congratulations to the Ventnor Fringe Festival team, and their merry band of volunteers, for yet another highly successful festival.

The weather was not as good as the scorching summer of 2022, but as most events take place inside tents or buildings, it meant the show could go on regardless.

Festival-goers traveled across the Island, from the other end of the UK and even from Europe to watch the shows, as well as being very well supported by Ventnorians.

Record ticket sales
Co-director of the Fringe, Jack Whitewood said,

“Can you believe it? Another Ventnor Fringe is over! It might have been a little unseasonably wet and windy but that didn’t stop you, with a new box office record, totaling over 11,500 tickets sold to shows at the Fringe!”
