Vestas has been in the US news quite a bit over the last couple of weeks.
Class action by pension fund
It was widely reported yesterday that a class action law suit has been filed against the Danish wind turbine company.
A pension fund has launched a class action lawsuit against the company in the United States, claiming Vestas gave misleading information that artificially inflated its share price. Vestas are reported as denying the claims.
Embezzlement case
But they won’t be out of the courts for long, according to several US publications, Vestas are filing their own law suit, this one against a former finance director. It’s claimed the former employee and her husband stole over $1m by using company funds to buy personal goods with a company credit card over a three year period.
