It’s coming up for the third day that the soon-to-be-sacked Vestas workers have been carrying out their sit-in at Vestas office in the St Cross business park in Newport.
The people in there are clearly putting themselves through quite a lot for a cause that they believe in.
They think it’s not just sleep that they’ll be losing – one of them, Mike said they think they’ll have “lost everything and probably get arrested.”
Mike told VB, “We’re not fighting for us any more, we’re fighting for everyone else.”
They’re asking for your support tonight – even if it’s just to turn up for ten minutes to, in their words, “show Vestas management that we’re not alone.”
