It seems that this year really is the war of the Isle of Wight music festivals.
In previous years IW Festival and Bestival have always made their lineup announcements on different dates, sometimes weeks apart, but this year sees Bestival following IW Festival within hours of making their announcements.
Readers may remember the double whammy on 4th February when IW Festival made an announcement at 9am in the morning and Bestival followed shortly afterwards with their announcement at 10am.

IW Festival made their next announcement at 8am this morning and lo and behold, Bestival tell us they’ll be making another announcement shortly.
