A local cancer charity has launched a seasonal shopping campaign in a bid to raise £200,000 to support local people affected by cancer this Christmas.
Wessex Cancer Support’s six shops have been transformed into ‘Christmas Crackers’ – fully stocked with festive favourites. Items for sale feature in Christmas categories, from ‘perfect presents’ and ‘delightful decorations’ to ‘wine and dine’ and ‘dress to impress’.

Mark Ellis, Wessex Cancer Support’s Head of Retail, said,
“The staff and volunteers in our shops are really excited about making this Christmas our best ever.
“Our shops play such an important role in enabling us to support thousands of local people affected by cancer and their families.
“We’ve decked them out with everything people need for Christmas and we have high quality goods at bargain prices.
“We hope everyone in our local communities will shop with Wessex Cancer Support this Christmas and help us reach our £200,000 sales target!”
In the charity’s shop in Freshwater, customers will find a number of themed sales.
‘Perfect presents’ covers gifts, toys and games, while ‘dress to impress’ focuses on formal party wear. Glasses and tableware feature in ‘wine and dine’ and ‘delightful decorations’ covers the all-important seasonal accessories.
