Keen photographers have until the end of the week to take part in a photographic competition.
The competition, being run by the West Wight Landscape Partnership, is open to all amateur photographers over the age of eight, who are invited to submit their shots taken in the West Wight.
You can choose to enter your pictures into the Macro Shots class, featuring perhaps close ups of sculptures or beach features of the West Wight, or alternatively you could plump for Landscape Shots, which is self-explanatory.
Both classes include two age range categories, 8-14 years and 14+ years.
Your picture could even be featured in an exhibition of the entries at a later date.
Closing date for entries noon on Friday 10 September 2010.
We understand that there’ll be prizes for winners and runners up in each age category, including membership of the National Trust and Hants & IW Wildlife Trust plus a framed copy of their winning entry.
Check out the West Wight Landscape Partnership‘s Website for competition rules.
