Shot of Wet Leg band in a field

Wet Leg music used by BBC for their Glastonbury coverage

Isle of Wight band Wet Leg will be heading to Glastonbury Festival today (Friday) fresh from their packed-out performance in the Big Top at Isle of Wight Festival last Sunday.

Wet Leg fans will be pleased to hear that the BBC’s coverage of Glastonbury Festival features a snippet from Wet Leg’s Wet Dream single as the sting (this is the incidental music in between programme segments). It should be easily recognisable to fans as the middle of the chorus when Rhian Teasdale says, “Let’s begin!”

IW performances
Wet Leg will be performing on The Park stage at 2pm today (Friday) and we understand the BBC will be broadcasting some of Wet Leg’s performance (you’ll be able to catch up on iPlayer if you miss it live).

Just after them over on the Croissant Neuf stage, another Isle of Wight band, Plastic Mermaids, will also be performing today (at 3pm).

Plastic Mermaids released their latest single, ‘Something Better’ on Thursday this week, which you can listen to below.
