This coming Thursday (17th October) members of the NUT and NASUWT are planning to stage a one-day strike across many parts of the country.
The Isle of Wight is included in that day of action and some schools have already informed the council whether they intend to close.
The spreadsheet below lists the information provided by the Isle of Wight council (at time of publishing) and will be updated as the week goes on. Click on the tabs at the bottom of the spreadsheet to see different types of schools.
The council say,
Any schools listed as ‘due to open’ have not yet confirmed their plans for the strike day. However, parents should always assume their child’s school will be open on 17 October unless otherwise stated below.
Please remember some schools may not be in a position to confirm if they will be open, closed or partially closed until the day of the strike itself.
