Wight Words Festival: Dominic Holland

The Wight Words Festival kicked off this week with its grand launch on Monday night at Quay Arts in Newport.

The Wight Words Festival comprises a number of events around the Island over the next 2-3 weeks, including book launches, performance poetry, theatre, musicals, storytelling, song writing and short films with a literary theme.

On Saturday night, the Island will be welcoming one of the regarded stand-up comedians of our time, Dominic Holland. He has been described by one of the broadsheets as ‘The UK’s master of observational comedy’ and he will be appearing at Ryde Studio Theatre at Ryde High School as part of the Wight Words Festival.
