The Wight Words Festival comprises a number of events around the Island over the next 2-3 weeks, including book launches, performance poetry, theatre, musicals, storytelling, song writing and short films with a literary theme.

On Saturday night, the Island will be welcoming one of the regarded stand-up comedians of our time, Dominic Holland. He has been described by one of the broadsheets as ‘The UK’s master of observational comedy’ and he will be appearing at Ryde Studio Theatre at Ryde High School as part of the Wight Words Festival.

If you feel like a laugh, why not book your ticket now and turn up for 8pm start on Saturday night?

Tickets will set you back £7 each and can be booked by calling 611705.
