After a two-year hiatus, the tenth Wolverton Folk and Blues Fair is back this weekend, taking place in the stunning grounds of Wolverton Manor, Shorwell on Saturday 14th May 2022.
From the successful launch in 2011, the family friendly festival has been gaining momentum with fantastic bands/artists each year along with locally produced food, children’s activities, tea tent and not forgetting the Real Ale tent!
Special guest artists at Wolverton Folk and Blues this year include….
- Europe’s Premier Bluesman Dave Kelly and His Band
- Rising UK Folk stars of 2022 Granny’s Attic
- British Blues Supremo The Papa George Band
As well as the Main Stage, the popular ‘Beer Tent Acoustic Stage’ will make a welcome return providing a full and varied programme, featuring some of the best Folk and Blues musicians the Isle of Wight has to offer.
Other Bands/Artists confirmed include: The Devil’s Damned String Band, The Bohemians, Laurie McVay and The High Rollers, The Clacks Band, Vote Pedro, Steve Love, Brighstone Barnacles, Doug Alldred and The Silver Lining,
SheShells, Knucklehead, Moonshine Border Morris, plus more to be announced.
With an IW real ale beer tent, Tea Tent, Bar-be-que, children’s activities, craft stalls and Morris Dancing, The Wolverton Folk and Blues Fair is set to be a great opportunity to enjoy top live music and great festival food, set against the backdrop of the beautiful West Wight scenery.
In aid of Leukaemia Research and Brighstone School.

Wolverton Folk and Blues Fair 2022 takes place in the stunning grounds of Wolverton Manor, Shorwell, Isle of Wight PO30 3JS on Saturday 14th May 2022 from 11.30am to 8pm.
Tickets are £10 each, (£12 on day). Children 12 and under go free.
