Workwear Island Charity Football Match returns, aiming to raise funds for Mountbatten

Following the success of last year, which raised over £4,000 for Mountbatten, the much-loved Workwear Island Charity Football Match is back – and this year, it’s set to be even bigger!

Organised by Ellie Moore, owner of Workwear Island, the event raises money for vital local causes and brings the whole community together for an unforgettable day of football, fundraising and fun.

2025 to include youth matches
This year’s match promises even more for families and football fans alike, with the exciting addition of youth matches and interactive children’s football sessions from The Football Fun Factory.

After the main charity match, two separate youth games will be played, giving the next generation of footballers the chance to shine in front of a crowd.

The main event will still see local legends, familiar faces and surprise guest players take to the pitch in a light-hearted, competitive clash – all in the name of charity.

Sponsor the event
Workwear Island is calling on local and national businesses to get involved. Whether you’re able to sponsor the event, donate prizes, or provide equipment, every bit of support makes a huge difference. Your brand will be seen by hundreds on the day and across our growing online audience in the run-up to the match.

All proceeds from the event will go directly to supporting Mountbatten, a charity close to all Islanders’ hearts.

Where and when
The event will again be held at Brading Town Football Club on Sunday 25th May 2025 from 12pm.

Entry by donation (suggested £5), kids go free– all are welcome!
