As we mentioned yesterday, World Book Day takes place this Thursday (1st March).
Jenny from Sandown Library tells us that they will be giving away £1 book tokens to the children attending their weekly Storytime/ Rhymetime session on the same day.
The book tokens entitle each child to a free £1 World Book Day book, or £1 off any book or audio book costing £2.99 or more.

They also have quiz sheets for children aged up to 16. All correct entries will be put in a draw, and the winner will receive all eight World Book Day books!
This competition is open until March 10th. Quiz sheets can be collected from Sandown Library.
If you are too young for this, they also need teams of four adults to sign up for their World Book Night Quiz, which takes place on Saturday, 21st April at 2.00pm.
