Wrestling at the Winter Gardens

The colourful, charismatic superstars of the ring are coming to the Isle of Wight at the Ventnor Winter Gardens this week for a night of family entertainment featuring the top stars of LDN Wrestling

Wrestling at the Winter GardensYou have seen it on TV, now experience the excitement and atmosphere of LDN Wrestling live- there’s absolutely nothing like it!

Capturing the spirit of Big Daddy, Giant Haystacks and the World of Sport, LDN Wrestling has been making a name for itself over the past three years, promoting exciting, family-friendly shows.

Mixing home-grown stars such as near 20 stone Dominator and the Mediterranean Sensation Yorghos with occasional guest appearances from bona fide UK legends like Kendo Nagasaki and Johnny ‘Mr Smooth’ Kidd, LDN Wrestling is fast establishing itself as Britain’s premier wrestling organisation, and a great alternative for fans who have been put off by the style-over-substance approach of the Americans.

No wrestling fan will want to miss the debut show at the Ventnor Winter Gardens. LDN have announced that the show will feature a night of over the top rope wrestling action including a special no falls count anywhere contest for the LDN Television championship.

The 6’1 Champion TV Champion Travis will be in singles action as he battle big mouth poser Michael Mendoza. Also on the bill, will be the new British Heavyweight Champion the East End London hard man ‘The Notorious’ Jon Ritchie in a traditional British rounds match with Australian superstar Sean King.

“It’s great to bring a tradition back to Ventnor, the Isle of Wight was a hot spot for professional wrestling back in the 70s during the ITV ‘World of Sport’ programming however it died when it was taken off in the 80s. I’m looking forward the stars the rest of the UK have seen to your door steps. Expect a night of thrills, spills and body slams, not be missed!” commented LDN Promoter.

Don’t miss out! The event takes place on Saturday 21st February at the Ventnor Winter Gardens in the Isle of Wight.
