150 Years of Shoes on display at Guildhall until 4pm

BootsIf you happen to be in Newport in the next couple of hours, why not drop into the Museum of Island History (at the Guildhall) between 2pm – 4pm and see a table top display of amazing shoes and accessories.

The event organised by Isle of Wight Heritage Service won’t cost you a penny to get in.

I wish I’d known this was on – I would have loved to have seen the display. Only read this at 22.45 tonight. Perhaps it could be kept longer?

Hi Sally
I had forgotten how inviting & comprehensive your listings are. Might it be possible for OTW & EOTW to have tabs on each other’s sites, so one can flick to & fro easily without setting them both up? They seem to be separate sites, (or maybe I have missed somerthing….)

…I realise there’s tabs for What’s On & Home; but once you go from there to EOTW & have spent a while looking at different events, following the the arrow back to OTW takes a while…

Not insurmountable of course, but if a direct tab is possible, so much the slicker….

Thanks tryme, your suggestion got us thinking and on the basis of this we’ve now set it so the Events Listing (which will take you to Events OnTheWight) and Armchair Auditor menu options will open in their own a new window.

Top idea!
