As reported back in September, representatives from the Isle of Wight Council are up in Westminster this afternoon meeting with Ed Miliband.
All the political heavyweights are taking part in the discussions on the future of green jobs on the Island.
Leader of the IW Council David Pugh, Labour Cllr Geoff Lumley, Chief Executive Steve Beynon, Island MP Andrew Turner and Carole Dennett as well as a representative from SEEDA will be making their views known and listening to what the Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change has to say on the matter.
We’ll bring you an update on the outcome of the meeting once we have one.
