Well done to the Isle of Wight Cheese Company who have been short-listed for the prestigious British Cheese Awards.
Both Gallybagger and Isle of Wight Blue are in the frame for a medal in the highly-regarded competition – the only question is what shade the medals will be.
To get to this stage is an achievement, as only around 30% of the 903 cheeses entered will be awarded a gold, silver or bronze medal.
Surely the whole Island have their fingers crossed for Richard Hodgson and the team for the best possible result.
The final results will be out in a couple of weeks, which will be reported on VentnorBlog.
