If you haven’t made plans for this weekend, why not treat yourself and your partner to an evening of cocktails, live music, nostalgia and fabulous food.
Tonight sees the launch of The Royal Revival, two days and evenings of vintage fun in Ventnor.
We hear that there are just a couple of tables left for tonight and possibly a table for four tomorrow night.
Say ‘hello’ to The Bovril Sisters
Tonight’s fun starts with a Bellini Cocktail (made famous by Harry’s Bar, Venice in 1930s) in the conservatory with the first set from The Bovril Sisters, an acapella trio performing the hits of the Boswell Sisters.
Enjoy a three course meal, with resident pianist Simon Fricker on the piano and fresh back from a stint in the USA, Island magician, Aaron Isted performing table magic. The Bovril Sisters will perform a second set later in the evening.
Tickets for the event, which include a three course evening meal are £55 per person.
Edwardian splendour with world-class jazz
Saturday night brings with it an Edwardian Gala night. The evening starts with Kir Royale Cocktails at 6.30pm with Simon Fricker on the piano.
In homage to the original Michelin Guide of 1911 there will be a three-course Edwardian inspired gala dinner created by award-winning chef, Alan Staley.
After dinner, world-renowned jazz singer/pianist Liane Carroll will be playing a tailored set in the conservatory, ranging from Noel Coward to Ella Fitzgerald.
Tickets for the Saturday evening which include the three course evening meal are £65 per person.
