There’s been a serious gas link in Fratton that has disrupted train services between Portsmouth and Havant.
UPDATE Sat 4.Feb 13:24 – National Rail are expecting to have this cleared by 3pm today, but check before travelling.
Dominic O’Donoghue got in touch (Thanks!) with VB recently to say he’d tried to use the trains at around 6pm but found it to be a mass of confusion.
The British Rail site says that local Stagecoach buses between Portsmouth and Havant (routes 21 & 700) can be used with rail tickets.
It’s unclear how long it’s going to take to sort out, so contact British Rail before travelling.
