This Sunday sees the Reaching High for Autism event take place at Ryde firestation.
Organised by the IW branch of the National Autistic Society, the challenge is to build a 50ft ladder out of LEGO.
All involved have been working towards the challenge over the last few weeks, with several ladder building workshops taking place. Sunday will see the 50ft LEGO ladder finally come together.
All are invited to pop along to watch, cheer on support and enjoy the refreshments etc., on offer.
As well as the LEGO building, there’ll be cakes and refreshments, bouncy castles, face painting, a raffle (with loads of great prizes), Hog roast, ice cream and more.
Pop along to Ryde Firestation on Nicholson Road, from 10.30am on Sunday 1st April – this is no April Fool!
If you can’t make it along, it looks as though it will be streamed live on the Internet via UStream.
